The Institute of Child Psychology has developed a unique online, interactive group for parents with anxious children and youth.
It combine’s Yale University’s S.P.A.C.E. program, along
with ICP’s psycho-educational material and treatment protocols that focus on holistic treatment for anxiety in children & teens
Dates: September 27- Nov 29 (Tuesdays)
COST: $900 (payment due in full via etransfer or paypal)
HOW IS THE GROUP CONDUCTED: Through zoom meetings
CAN I BE REIMBURSED FOR THE GROUP: Yes. This is categorized as “psychological services” under extended health benefits. So if you call your benefit provider and ask them if counselling is covered (as this falls under ‘group counselling’) you will be able to submit weekly receipts to be reimbursed. The psychologist’s registration number is #4068 if you need this for your insurance
HOW MANY OTHER PARENTS WILL BE ATTENDING: Space is limited to 10 participants.

Tammy has been practicing as a clinical psychologist specializing in children and adolescents for the last 11 years in Alberta. She is also a former licensed teacher in the province of Alberta (elementary education). Tammy areas of specialization include: anxiety, trauma, divorce & separation, play therapy, and animal assisted therapy.
Tammy designed ICP’s foundational course “Childhood Anxiety: Helping Children Heal” (which has been taught globally for 5 years) and has trained at Yale’s Child Development Centre to support families with anxious children.
