Dr. Mariel Buque

Dr. Mariel Buqué is a Columbia University-trained Psychologist, intergenerational trauma expert, and the author of Break the Cycle: a book that focuses on healing wounds of intergenerational trauma. She additionally provides healing workshops to Fortune 100 companies including Google, Twitter, Capital One, and Facebook, and lectures within the psychology department of Columbia University. Dr. Buqué is widely sought out for her clinical expertise and trauma approach and has been featured on major media outlets including The Today Show, CNN, The Real, and ABC News. Dr. Sarah Bren

Dr. Sarah Bren is a licensed clinical psychologist and mom of two, whose passion is helping parents find their inner confidence and raise healthy, resilient kids. Dr. Sarah is the host of the podcast Securely Attached and the co-founder of Upshur Bren Psychology Group in Pelham, NY where she treats parents, children, and families.

Dr. Daniel Siegel

Dr. Dan Siegel is a clinical professor of psychiatry[2] at the UCLA School of Medicine and the founding co-director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center[3] at UCLA. An educator, he is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and recipient of several honorary fellowships. Siegel is also the executive director of the Mindsight Institute, an educational organization, which offers online learning and in-person seminars that focus on how the development of mindsight in individuals, families and communities can be enhanced by examining the interface of human relationships and basic biological processes. Dr. Siegel is also the best-selling author of several books including: Parenting from the Inside Out, No Drama Discipline, Brainstorm, The Yes Brain, The Whole-Brain Child, and The Power of Showing up. 

Tammy Schamuhn,
R. Psych

Tammy is a Registered Psychologist, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, and Co-Founder of the Institute of Child Psychology. Tammy also has a Bachelors of Education from the University of Alberta and practiced as an elementary teacher before going on to complete her Masters degree in Psychology.  Tammy specializes in working with trauma & anxiety in children and teens. Tammy and her business partner, Tania Johnson are also authors, and have a book being released in spring 2024 called the “Parenting Playbook.”

Dr. Cindy Hovington

Dr. Cindy Hovington is a Canadian mom of 3 (ages 3, 5, and 7) with a doctorate in neuroscience from McGill University. For almost a decade, she has been sharing the science of parenting and child development with parents to help them create the best possible environment for their kids. In addition to being the co-founder of Wondergrade, Cindy is the founder and owner of Curious Neuron and the Curious Neuron Podcast.

Dr. Jennifer Mullan

Bryanna Kappadakunnel, LMFT

Bryana Kappadakunnel is a seasoned professional in the field of perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health. She specializes in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, child-parent attachment issues, family dynamics needs, and adjustments to life's stressors. Eli Hartwood, LMFT 

Eli is a licensed therapist and the Founder of Attachment Nerd; an education focused organization focused on helping families and couples deepen their attachment bonds and develop secure ways of relating to one another. Dr. Deb Macnamara

Dr. Deborah MacNamara is a clinical counsellor and educator with more than twenty-five years experience, and is the author of the best selling book, Rest, Play, Grow: Making Sense of Preschoolers (or anyone who acts like one). She is on faculty at the Neufeld Institute, operates a counselling practice, and speaks regularly about child and adolescent development to parents, childcare providers, educators, and mental health professionals. Jennifer Kolari, MSW, RSW, is a child and family therapist who has been based in Toronto for twenty-five years. She is the author of two best-selling books: Connected Parenting and “Surviving the Teen Years with Connected Parenting.” In addition to coaching parents on how to develop and use connected parenting skills, she teaches children's social skills groups and parenting workshops. Jon is the founder of “Whole Parent Academy” in addition to being a Pastor at Hope Covenant Church in Orland Park. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from North Park University in Business and Masters degree from North Park Theological Seminary. 

Dr. Dawn Huebener

Dr. Dawn Huebner is a Psychologist, Parent Coach, and the author of numerous

books for children including perennial bestsellers What to Do When You Worry Too Much and Outsmarting Worry. Her newest series, Dr. Dawn’s Mini Books About Mighty Fears, speaks with warmth and humor to children struggling with specific phobias while teaching the tools needed to break free. Dr. Michaleen Doucleff

Michaeleen Doucleff is the author of the best-selling book: “Hunt, Gather, Parent,” as well as a correspondent for NPR’s Science Desk. In 2015, she was part of the team that earned a George Foster Peabody award for its coverage of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Prior to joining NPR, Doucleff was an editor at the journal Cell, where she wrote about the science behind pop culture. She has a doctorate in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in viticulture and enology from the University of California, Davis. She lives with her husband and daughter in San Francisco.

Tosha Schore, M.A, is a coach, author, educator, and speaker. She is the mother of three boys, and an advocate for boys and their families worldwide. Janelle Althen, LCSW

Janelle Althen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with
couples and families since 1994. Janelle attended the Graduate School of Social
Work at the University of Denver (MSW 1995), and completed a 2-year post-
graduate program in marriage and family therapy at Denver Family Institute (1996).
In the early years of her work with internationally adopting families she began an
in-depth study of early complex trauma and attachment, and engaged in a
passionate pursuit of tools, interventions and strategies to help her families
strengthen their attachment relationships and heal their children’s attachment
wounds and traumatic experiences. This changed her own parenting paradigm in
powerful and rewarding ways! This also eventually led to developing curriculum and
teaching attachment work with couples and family systems at a graduate and post-
graduate level for over 15 years.
