Tammy Schamuhn, R. Psychologist
Tammy is a Registered Psychologist, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, Speaker, and Educator. She is the Co-Founder of the Institute of Child Psychology, and the Founder and former Executive Director of Family Counselling Centres, based in Alberta Canada.
Tammy has been working in private practice, offering psychological services and counselling for the past decade in Alberta, primarily with children and their families, specializing in anxiety and trauma.
While she is a practicing clinician, she is also an educator. Tammy facilitates trainings and keynotes internationally based on topics pertaining to children’s mental health. Tammy also possesses a Bachelors of Education from the University of Alberta, and practiced as an elementary teacher before going on to complete her graduate degree in Psychology.
