CAD $38.09

This workshop aims to provide practical information for caregivers and professionals about the importance of both the emotion-regulation in the children and those who support them. This course will focus on concrete strategies that we can utilize with the children to enhance their development of self-regulation skills.

Description

Navigating our child’s big feelings can be exhausting. This workshop empowers you with the latest research and tools to not only help your child manage these feelings- but to use these moments to bring you and your child, or the child you are working with, even closer. Children need an adult who can be their anchor through a storm – by the end of this workshop you will know exactly how to do that.

In this workshop, we explore 7 principles that foster emotion regulation. The seven principles include:

  •  A connected child is a happy child
  • Working with the brain, not against it
  • Ensuring Caregiver resiliency

  • Keeping it Simple
  • Exploring Discipline that doesn’t divide
  • Nurturing Emotional Resiliency

Each principle has a toolbox which helps parents, teachers, and caregivers to implement concrete tools and strategies into their home immediately.
