Practical Strategies to Help Children Manage Stress: Body Based Lens (Annual Conference)

$50.00

The world around us has, and continually is, changing exponentially every single year. As incredible the human body is, it unfortunately was not designed to evolve as fast as the environments our children are growing up in. This can lead to significant stress to our children and ourselves. Throughout this course, we will explore a deeper understanding as to why our children are challenged with the effects of stress and what we can do to change the outcomes.

This course aims to educate the parents and caregivers, the importance of a healthy brain, nervous system, and environment and how implementing simple practical strategies can ensure our children are functioning at their optimal potential.

Description

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” – Albert Einstein

The human brain and nervous system are the most complex computer in the known universe. Built to interpret our internal and external environments and respond as appropriately as possible. As the child’s brain grows and learns, trillions of new neural connections are created over the developing years. Essentially creating the physiological memories, patterns and habits which make them who they are today.

This course is unique in that it is facilitated by a Chiropractor, and aims to educate the parents and caregivers, the importance of a healthy brain, nervous system, and environment and how implementing simple practical strategies can ensure our children are functioning at their optimal potential.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Explore the various forms of physical, chemical, emotional, and electromagnetic stressors our children are exposed to today.
  • Develop an understanding of the fundamental functioning of the brain and nervous system, in both the adult and the developing child’s brain.
  • Develop an insight to the adaptation, maladaptive processes, habits, and patterns that form throughout a child’s life.
  • Identify and provide practical strategies that can support a child’s management of stress.
  • Inspire parents to identify their own life challenges and lead their children to optimal health and vitality
