Childhood ADHD: From Struggling to Thriving

Does your child or a child you work with struggle with distractibility, restlessness, hyperactivity, forgetfulness, disorganization, or the completion of tasks?

Join our Co-Founder, Tania Johnson, Registered Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist for this three-part online course. Introducing participants to the neurobiological and environmental roots of Attention-Deficit Disorder and other attention-related issues; followed by an exploration of effective and ineffective caregiving strategies and skills; with a final look at the importance of relationship-based caregiving. 

Participants will walk away with a full "tool-box" of tools and resources to help the children in their lives thrive.


  • Explanation on the nuts and bolts of an attention- related diagnosis

  • Identification of neurological and environmental factors which contribute to ADHD and other attention issues

  • Discussion on treatment options ( both pharmaceutical and holistic)

  • Incorporate strategies and tools to help children develop emotion regulation, to increase their ability to focus, and to foster resiliency at home, at school and in the community

  • Explore the vital importance of healthy connections for children with attention-related issues

This course will take place over three dates, each session will be 2 hours long.

This course will be delivered through GoToWebinar - an online platform - a computer, speakers and stable internet connection will be required to view this course. A workbook with an overview of the material will be sent out via e-mail by your instructor. An electronic Certificate of Completion will be sent 5 - 10 business days after the course date.

These sessions will be recorded, a link to each recording will be sent out to participants the following day; the recording will be available to view for 30 days.
