The Institute of Child Psychology is proud to present our first annual Children's Mental Health Conference offered April 21-22 at the University of Alberta.

This conference will include 2 full convening days filled with empowering opportunities to learn, share, network, and be inspired! At this conference parents, caregivers, educators, and mental health professionals will come together to learn about the latest research, innovations, and techniques pertaining to children’s mental health and attachment-based parenting practices. All our workshops will be offered by Registered Psychologists who specialize in Children’s Mental Health and who work locally in the Edmonton Area.

April 21:

**standard rate for 2 full days = $185.00

What is Provided:
Printed handouts of an overview of the material. Light refreshments (coffee, tea & water) will be provided at the event and participants will need to take care of their lunch (a break will be provided between 12:00-1:00pm each day). A certificate of completion will be granted after completion of each workshop.

How Do I Choose My Courses Once Registered?
Once you’ve registered, an online form will be emailed to you to choose your workshops. You can check our workshops page to ensure the class you want still has space

What If I Don’t Want to Attend the Entire Weekend?
You can purchase individual events for the conference but please note that they will not be at a discounted rate available for the weekend conference pass. To purchase individual events, please go to and search by location [Edmonton] or the date of the workshop your interested in [April 21 or April 22].

Can I Submit This Event Under My Benefits?
This conference may be eligible for reimbursement under "psychological services" for Employee Assistance Plans; specific receipts for this purpose are given within 21 business days after attendance is verified at the time of the event.

What if I Can't Afford a Ticket Due to My Income?
We offer subsidized tickets (50% off *regular price) to those families with limited income. Please email us at for qualifications.

Refunds for this conference will only given up to 30 days prior to the event. Tickets can be transferred to a third party at any time.
