“This course opened my eyes to what is going on in my stepson’s brain. How my efforts to help at this point have been somewhat futile. . . but now I am armed with the proper tools to help us both navigate this journey with anxiety.”
“We I feel I have a better understanding of my own children and what they need from me . . I would recommend this course to all parents and caregivers”
“I walked away from this course with lots of ideas to help our daughter as well as our family. . . It was definitely a worthwhile course that I feel every parent, caregiver or educator would benefit from”
“As a newly appointed Educational Assistant, it was helpful to have a better understanding of how to empathize with a frazzled child. This presentation equipped me with several tools on how to identify a child that may have unhealthy levels of stress.”
“I work in this field myself and I have attended a lot of courses on childhood mental health. This was informative, straight forward, and deeply touching. Tammy’s no-nonsense style drove some important points home and left me with a lasting impression. I absolutely loved that her whole course was geared to what we, the adults in the child’s life, can do – not what the child needs to do/fix/improve on. I feel motivated and enlightened to personally take on parenting in an even more conscious and meaningful way. Thank you for that.”
Thank you so much for sharing your kindness, understanding, and knowledge with us. With a 4 month old at home I was feeling disconnected with my 9 year old son. I found that we were just butting heads over pretty much everything. We used to have such a close relationship before baby, and I felt that no matter what I did I was just pushing him away. Your deep knowledge about the anatomy of a child’s brain helped me understand my son better and relate to him in a way I thought was not possible prior to this course. Thank you for giving me the tools that will help me get my little boy back and help him develop into a resilient and healthy teenager
