This policy applies to eligible purchases made through the Institute of Child Psychology Ltd. (“ICP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including professional courses, live trainings, workshops, memberships, webinars, events, and related educational products. Because ICP offers several types of programs, refund and cancellation terms may vary depending on the product purchased. Participants should review the applicable product or registration page and this policy before completing a purchase.
Unless otherwise expressly stated on the applicable product page, purchases of individual pre-recorded or on-demand courses are final sale and non-refundable. Because purchasers generally receive immediate access to digital course content and educational materials, refunds are not provided once a course has been purchased.
ICP encourages purchasers to review the following before completing a purchase:
Where multiple courses or products are sold together as a bundle, the bundle is considered a single purchase. Unless otherwise stated, bundled digital products are final sale and non-refundable. Individual components of a bundle cannot ordinarily be returned separately.
Discounts, promotional offers, coupon codes, bundles, and sale pricing may be subject to additional terms. Unless otherwise expressly stated, promotional purchases remain subject to the refund rules for the underlying product. Discounts cannot ordinarily be applied retroactively, promotional offers cannot generally be combined unless expressly permitted, and expired promotions will not be reinstated.
ICP may offer monthly, annual, or other recurring membership or subscription programs. Membership charges are billed according to the billing cycle selected at enrollment.
Recurring membership charges are processed according to the monthly, quarterly, annual, or other billing schedule shown at enrollment, subject to changes disclosed to the member.
Discounts or special offers may apply only to the initial purchased term; subsequent renewals may occur at the then-current subscription rate unless otherwise stated.
ICP may suspend or terminate access where a recurring payment cannot be processed because payment information is inaccurate, expired, or otherwise unavailable.
Access is effective only while required subscription fees are paid.
Membership and subscription payments are non-refundable once processed unless otherwise expressly stated or required by law.
Cancelling a membership prevents future renewals and does not generate a refund for a billing period that has already begun, unless otherwise expressly stated or required by law.
Access following cancellation varies based on the subscription type and purchase platform, as set out in Section 2.2.
Subscribers are responsible for tracking their renewal dates. ICP may send renewal reminders as a courtesy but does not guarantee reminder delivery.
Subscription upgrade options are not available. Previous membership payments cannot be applied as credit toward a new subscription. Refunds are subject to this policy and applicable law.
A free trial may be used only once per user, including when the same user creates duplicate email accounts. A second subscription by the same user will be billed at the full applicable amount without another free trial and does not qualify for a refund unless otherwise expressly stated or required by law.
Cancellation is irrevocable. Rejoining requires a new membership and payment of the applicable fee.
Cancellation procedures depend on where the membership was purchased.
Members must complete the cancellation process applicable to their purchase platform before the next scheduled billing date.
Cancellation terms for live online professional trainings may vary depending on the program. The applicable product or registration page will identify the cancellation deadline, refund eligibility, administrative or processing fees, and transfer options for that program.
In-person trainings may involve non-refundable venue, travel, catering, presenter, and administrative expenses. For this reason, cancellation terms for in-person programs may differ from those for online programs.
The applicable event or registration page will identify:
Where a participant is unable to attend, ICP may permit transfer of the registration to another eligible participant, subject to applicable accreditation, registration, and program requirements.
Where permitted, participants may request that their registration be transferred to another person. Transfer requests may be subject to program eligibility requirements, continuing education rules, certificate requirements, administrative deadlines, and processing limitations. ICP may decline a transfer where it would conflict with accreditation, licensing, attendance, or program-administration requirements.
If ICP cancels a paid live program and does not provide a suitable rescheduled option, registered participants will ordinarily receive a refund of the applicable registration fee.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, ICP is not responsible for indirect or incidental costs associated with attending an event, including travel, accommodation, meals, lost income, childcare, transportation, or similar expenses. Participants attending in-person events are encouraged to purchase refundable travel arrangements or appropriate travel insurance where applicable.
ICP may occasionally need to modify program dates, times, instructors, presenters, format, location, or delivery platform. Where a material change occurs, ICP will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants. A change of instructor, schedule, delivery platform, or comparable administrative detail does not automatically create entitlement to a refund unless otherwise stated in the applicable program terms.
Purchasing a course or registering for a program does not automatically guarantee the awarding of continuing education credit or a certificate. Participants must satisfy any stated completion requirements, which may include:
Refunds will not ordinarily be issued because a participant did not complete required components or did not meet the requirements for a certificate or continuing education credit.
Participants are responsible for retaining copies of certificates issued to them. This does not replace ICP’s obligation to maintain records required by applicable accreditation requirements.
ICP may provide information regarding continuing education approvals, accreditation, or recognition associated with a particular program. Individual licensing bodies, professional associations, employers, and regulatory organizations determine whether a specific program is acceptable toward their requirements.
Participants are responsible for confirming applicable requirements with their licensing or regulatory organization where necessary. A licensing body’s decision not to accept a course does not automatically create entitlement to a refund unless ICP made a materially inaccurate representation regarding that course.
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same purchase or that a billing error occurred, contact ICP as soon as possible. Confirmed duplicate or erroneous transactions will be corrected or refunded.
Participants experiencing difficulty accessing a purchased digital course should contact ICP for technical support. Technical difficulties do not automatically entitle a purchaser to a refund where ICP can reasonably restore access or provide an alternative means of accessing the purchased content.
Participants are encouraged to contact ICP before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that ICP has an opportunity to review and resolve legitimate billing concerns. Fraudulent or improper chargebacks may result in suspension of access to ICP products or services while the matter is investigated.
The currency applicable to a purchase will be displayed at checkout. Applicable taxes are added as required by law. Financial institutions or payment platforms may apply currency-conversion or other transaction fees, which are outside ICP’s control and are the purchaser’s responsibility.
ICP may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Any discretionary exception does not modify this policy or create an obligation to provide the same exception in another situation.
Participant complaints, grievances, or disputes may be submitted to support@instituteofchildpsychology.com and are reviewed under the Participant Complaints Grievances and Disputes section of ICP’s Terms of Agreement.
